English Country House Style

The good ship Colefax & Fowler and all that sailed on her (well some of the most well known and departed anyway)

Along with Sybil Colefax, John Fowler was one of the founding fathers







Nancy Lancaster bought the company from Lady Colefax and along with John Fowler re-fined English country house style (ironically an she was an American)

Roger Banks-Pye - a more recent legend, prematurely passed away in 1996





Roger famously tea stained this Jane Churchill print to give it age and character

    Holy mackerel those interiors are amazing, the first and second one in particular! Drool! I'm really starting to loathe my boring white apartment :D

    Hi!

    I am an interior designer, too, and am hoping to use the C&F Fuchsia wallpaper, in the colorway pictured, for one of my clients. Sadly, I just called about it, and learned that is discontinued. :( Is there any chance you might be willing to part with the stock you have, that is if you haven't gotten your own house and used it yet? We need ten rolls, but could take your twelve if you are so inclined. I realize this post is over a year and a half old, but trying all options at this point! Please let me know! Thank you, and your reply would be very much appreciated.
