Alba

My Father's family came from Scotland ( Alba - in Latin) in the mid 1800's and were one of the very early settlers to Wellington, New Zealand. This is where they came from, my great, great, great etc grandfather was the Factor (Estate Manager) of Inverary Castle. My parents have been there and saw the graves of my ancestors - strange but wonderful. It looks amazing I can't wait to visit.

    Hi I came over from the laurel hedge blog. Your rose logo caught my eye. Very beautiful! I paint on porcelain and have for years tried to paint a rose- still with no luck! LOL...
