Black Beauty

Ever since I saw this article in BBC Homes & Antiques Magazine, I have been rather enamored with this divine chest of drawers; which surprised me as I've never gone in for black furniture before - but there is just something about this little beauty that gets me. Through further investigation I have found both Chelsea Textiles and Laura Ashley have a version. The prices are widely different - I wonder if the quality is - very hard to tell by looking at the pictures. What do you think?

    I think it is absolutely gorgeous! In fact, I love that whole room - predominantly white, with touches of black and pink - heaven!

    I love the whole room too and I'm not usually a fan of hot pink. Its styled in the spirit of John Stefanidis, whom I am lucky enough to work for.

    A very noble piece - I like it too. My mother had a black dresser when I was growing up and it always seemed rather stately.
