The Virginia birth place and home of Nancy Lancaster. Nancy waxed so lyrically about Mirador, her love for it and the renovations and improvements she made to the house and garden. As the house is privately owned and not open to the public, after much trawling on the internet, these were the only images I could come up with; I hope you enjoy them.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic house & property Vanya - I love Virginia, although have always been in a screaming hurry each time I've been. It's a long-held dream to spend quality time there in Fall & wander at my leisure, experiencing the beauty of the countryside & the quaint little Inns.

I love it there! I've actually been there and met the current owner. It's a VERY beautiful place and my dad's ex used to work there and my dad accasionally does some electrical work there. That is actually the place that I got my first horse from! I love the gardens and fields! I love their horses, too. Lots of dogs and horses!
