Fiesole

The ancient village of Fiesole sits on the hills above Florence.

Such a charming place, we caught a bus here for the afternoon; as we wound our way up the hill the road is lined with sumptuous villa's built or restored by the English in the 1800's.

We were looking for the roman amphi-theatre, but never found it,

we must have taken a wrong turn...

but it really didn't matter, as we had wonderful time wandering and discovering other lovely things

hi vanya, thanks for stopping by! have you tried unsubscribing and subscribing again? i've chosen the 'short' syndication setting, i.e. just the first paragraph without pictures, for subscriptions. but it's weird if nothing shows up at all...
