Monet's House & Garden

The last in the France series - enjoy!

This was the highlight of my Easter Trip.

The famous yellow dining room

The blue kitchen which is just off the dining room - I predict blue and yellow is going to make a resurgence soon

The water garden, unfortunately it was a little too early for the waterlilies and wisteria; however this is a sneak preview of what it would look like.

Here is how Monet saw it

  2. We went to Monet's House and Garden a few years ago - I loved it! The waterlilies were in the pond, it was breathtakingly beautiful. it felt as if you were in the painting. There was a little cafe down the road that had the best ham, cheese and butter sandwiches on the best baguette I think I have ever had!!! Maybe I was very hungry, but I think a lot had to do with the location. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

We will be returning to Paris in October. I plan on seeing his home again.
