This would suit me quite happily!

  1. Beautiful. Not that I'm quite in the countryside myself but my cottage could do with taking some style tips from these photos!

  4. Vanya - beautiful images, as usual. You have such a nice refined taste. I love the photo with the small bed and those amazing mirrors on the wall. Also the perfect, neat stone wall.

Hope all is well. Coming by your blog is always like a deep breath of fresh air. xo Terri

  5. Vanya, thanks for the note. Good luck in your pursuits! That is a big decision indeed. Assume you are going to be doing ID in NZ also. I think it would be amazing if you could go back and forth a while and do some travelling! Yes, I would love to visit the UK or NZ one day, and will look you up!!

Please stay in touch wherever you go! And I am not stroking your ego with my comments - there are genuinely very few blogs I go to that really resonate with me and yours is one. I think we share a similar eye perhaps, but your posts have a certain depth and beauty that strikes my brain in just the right way!!

Would love to see some of your rooms some day!

  6. Hi Vanya. Great photos. The slanted ceiling shot...my husband's home office has a slanted side wall and I would love to add windows to it...love how it bathes the room in light.

  7. Oh, could it be any more charming!? I love everything about this place. From those great black chairs to the red trim, the picket fence and the checkerboard floors, just gorgeous!!!
