Fiesole

The ancient village of Fiesole sits on the hills above Florence.

Such a charming place, we caught a bus here for the afternoon; as we wound our way up the hill the road is lined with sumptuous villa's built or restored by the English in the 1800's.

but it really didn't matter, as we had wonderful time wandering and discovering other lovely things
